WAKA, whose full name is Takayuki Isobe (磯部孝幸 ), was a concept designer for the Little Tail Bronx franchise. His most notable work was for Solatorobo: Red the Hunter and Mamoru-kun. Some of his art was also featured in CyberConnect2's Kemono Magazine.
WAKA utilized two distinctive art styles while working for CC2, one that was more painterly & sharp and another more simplistic style with an emphasis on rounded features. Most of his artwork was done digitally though traditional pencil sketches can be found in Solatorobo's concept art book series. While he would draw anthropomorphic characters with anatomically-correct or simpler rounded muzzles, the majority of them were much more human-like when it came to facial features.
